how the hell are you meant to get the zero board sponsorship dude's thing. Ride the block, jump the gap then grind the left rail?

I can't do it, it says I've done the first two, but then I'm nowhere near that rail, and if i think i've got a good line there's some stupid pedestrian in the way. What's the line to take here?

tried doing a grab over the gap?? lifts the board up a little thats all i think that is how i got it, just popped grabbed landed on the rail. took a fair few goes though
 
Just doing some death races for ages then realised that i didnt need to go through every single gate to win.

If you just go through a select few to keep your timer up you can still win.

I think on one race i only went through 20% of all gates, beat everyone by 30 seconds aswell!

EDIT- Just done all the races, shami, Did you also not realise that you didnt have to go through all the gates? I think i know which one your stuck on.

With that, do 540's.

Do a ollie and spin right, and push right on the right analog stick also, you'll do a quick 540. Then do a kickflip 540, shuv it 540, nollie 540, kickflip 540 etc...

Just wait until they bail.

set a marker on the opposite side of the street. straight on, aim leftish off the block & ollie (or nollie in my case) earlier than you think :)

im on the one in old town where two of you start on one pavement and two on the other, at one point you have to go down an alley and jump over some stairs. I just keep hitting objects that are either obscured by my body or the camera hasn't turned quick enough after a bend :(

Does anyone know if the pro skate challenges (theres like a zillion in a row at the same place) have an end? or do they just loop? and whats the reward? i've done about 10 but they're getting a touch dull.

Found that quite easy myself... Skate to the edge of the jump to line yourself up perfectly. Turn around and skate the opposite direction in a straight line.

Get yourself a decent run up and do a big ollie with a double/triple kickflip. Jobs a good-un :)

I've managed to do all the pro challenges now, the 360 flip is easy to pull off once you've done it the first time.

Make sure the right stick doesn't actually touch the outside of the analogue circle and do the entire move without touching the edge until the final diagonal flick :)

Thats easy dude! :p

Just miss all the first ones up until the fast slope and stairs. You should be winning by about 20 seconds then. All you have to do is make sure your timer doesnt reach zero. Gates just add time so you dont need to hit them all!

Check my achievement for it, i did it this way.

woohoo just completed it, got both golds at xgames, all that's left to do now is finish a few films challenges, took me ages to get the mega ramp gold!

still haven't ventured into online mode yet though
