Skate!

yeah the mega ramp was challenging. I ended up doing a nollie 360 flip at the top, varial kickflip to stiffy 540 off the ramp then a 1080 (:eek:) laser flip to mute off the QP! and that was still only an 87!!
 
Got a 95.54 on the ramp! :eek:

I have been trying to do a film for ages and eventually lost it and smashed my controller. Got a new one now which is much nicer, feels different! Been trying to do the 1080, 6 grinds, 4500 points one, can always get 2 but not the other in different combinations.

Why do EA games infuriate me sooo much, just done MoHA and that was infuriatingly annoying!

finally done all of the film challenges, god that was infuriating, just realised that i've still got to play skate with a load of pro's so haven't completed it fully just yet.

looking forward to just doing a bit of freeskating soon, i've tried to do it before, but got caught up trying to complete all the challenges.
 
Where abouts did you do the film ones?

Its so infuriating im getting to the point where i cant be fussed to do it.

Well that 1080, 6 grinds, 4500 points one i did on the xgames street course. Starting at the exit by the half pipe, took me AGES though. Still got 4 films to do, not looking forward to the no skate zone ones, can never find any good lines for them.
 
I find myself not just freeskating and enjoying myself as I get torn away by challenges. I want to get them all done so I can just skate about. I don't like the feeling of having loads to do in the game :p

I found a great tripple stair set the other night and I was there for about 30 minutes before my GF got annoyed that I wasn't in bed, but I would have stayed there plenty more if she hadn't. That's what I love, how you can just skate the same spot trying to get a perfect run and it doesn't get boring. I find myself laughing most of the time because of the bails.

I have completed both mags, danny's mega compound, xgames street and most of the skate games vs pros but I am having problems completing the xgames mega ramp. I seem to do some awesome stuff and land it and only get between 70-80 and suggestions?

LOTS of tricks, a complex flip right from the top, then another complex flip into a grab then into another grab while spinning off the main ramp, then another complex flip into 2 more grabs off the QP, do a rocket air at some point if you can because they get pretty good points (hold up on the right thumb stick then both grab triggers)
 
I was playing a mate online the other night on an outdoor DC skatepark which is supposedly found in The Res but I can't for the life of me find it during single player. Does it need unlocking first, if so, what do I need to do to unlock it?

Do a 900* grab.

Do a grab and press the right analog stick the same direction as the left one to get more spin.

Then do another 900* grab on the vert.

gah im beginning to rage at this game, all i have left to get on the front of both mags is some film runs, but **** me i cant for the life of me get any of them. i cnt see me getting any further on before im back to work :(
 
A very basic problem compared to whatever one else, but I can't seem to get any air. I'm flying down a hill to the Beat the Bank(iirc) spot and still I get very little air regardless of wether I push up on the left stick or not. It is getting very frustrating. Any tips?
 
OMG!

I think im going to snap this thing in half.

Done the film i was stuyck on for ages, then did the last contest at this awesome place (compound maybe), became an icon but now i have 10 more vids to do!

Reading this thread gives me scary flashbacks to Cool Boarders 3/Tony Hawks 2 rage... I was gonna pick it up for my birthday next week, now I worry. Couldn't handle that phase again! :eek:
