Ive been playing the demo of this on PS3 through most of today and at first I was like what the hell... with the controls but I must say this game has grown on me and im liking it a lot.

The only thing I dont like is the camera angle (not sure if you can change it in the full game) but its a bit annoying when you cannot see whats around you.

Think ill be getting this for christmas. :)
 
Youll get use to it the mate as the camera angle becomes quite beneficial as you progress as it allows you to judge obstacle height etc easier as its lower to the floor. This game was GOTY for me so much so that i dont think im ever gonna be able to play Tony Hawks again! Make sure you get it for Christmas! :)

For those who are still playing the demo, it's definately worth getting the full game.

Skate is one of my favourite releases on the 360 this year (got it on release day! :))

If you are still on the demo, it's worth checking out if the glitches to get out of the demo area still work.
 
I thank whoever bought this thread back from page 37 or whatever but also curse them! It has made me realise I havent played it since completing it but now I have to wait till I get home from work to play it!
 
Picked this up today and its just installed so im off to play. :)

Its great when you buy yourself early christmas pressies. :D
 
my younger brother is getting a 360 for Christmas along with this game. i must admit after playing it round a friends house it is highly addictive trying to perfect a trick.

how long did it take you guys to complete roughly ?
 
Anyone still playing this?

I popped it in the other day but I was bored after about 5-10 minutes :(

I am considering picking up THPG as I loved Project 8 (Got with my 360, most played game when I got it along with PES6)

I love the realism of SKATE but I am just a bit bored of it as I said above.
