I've done all of the easier stuff now and I'm really starting to struggle getting the higher scores, having trouble with the best trick and random film challenges in particular. What are the best tricks/methods for achieving the higher scores?

There's been a definate increase in the difficulty at the point I'm at now, any other general tips for advanced play later on in the game?

I find the easiest way to get big points whilst skating on the streets is to do the 360 flip based tricks e.g. 360 flip, laser flip etc and then to pull a 360 whilst doing that by spinning a normal 180 and then using the right stick to spin the remainder.

So in short pull off 360 spin 360 flips as they can normally guarantee you a big multiplier

Also all the Skate challenges can be completed very easily by doing a 540 (use the right stick to rotate quicker) as the AI can't cope with this and just does random tricks.

That was how I evetually beat all the Pros, took me a while to figure it out though. I found it pretty frustrating before.

How many "Skate" Pros are there in the end?

You end up going against random people in the same stairs spot over and over again... Had I finished it or do I have to beat an endless number of people on those same steps.

I'm not too sure on the number of pros but it just keeps going until you beat all the pros and you see that shiny achievement unlocked icon appear at the bottom

I love this game, got it other day for £18.. but it's so hard to get used to, and some of the challenges make me want to cry! :O

Stick with it!

The learning curve is a little steep to begin with but it won't be long before you grasped it

Some of the video challenges are tough as nails, you really have to search for good spots to do them.

Your thumb movements clearly aren't accurate enough, the complicated tricks really are difficult to get just right. Just keep practising in one spot and it will help no end.

Watch your stance too - if your in switch you'll do the opposite trick to what you think

erm (been a while so bare with

) deffo a button for it...

try swinging the left stick semi circle top to bottom (or vice versa)

I think....must play some more before Skate 2 is out
