Skinny jeans and grandad trousers with orange F's

I really can't stand clothes shopping, I'm roughly a 32 on jeans & at that size they are pretty tight on the top of my legs (It's not even like I'm at all big there - just mild quad development from casual lifting/squatting).

I have a pair of Levi 501's in a 33, fit perfect. Normally 34 is a bit too baggy and 32 is no chance.

Yeah, the expensive-ish brands seem to do the in-between measurements.

I usually end up with a 32" waist (6'2", ~12st), but it sometimes is slightly tight. A 34" is way too big, though. Fairly large thighs, so properly-skinny fit doesnt really work: a "fitted" style tends to be bang on.

I put on enough weight back when I was a student, and drinking/eating far too much, to rise up to a 34"/36" waist. Weighed a little over 14st IIRC. A bit lardy.

My idea of hell - having to do clothes shopping. I'd rather have fillings without anaesthetic than venture into shops to try on clothes.

6ft 3 and 34" waist here and skinny jeans is generally all I wear... anything else makes me look silly.
Places I shop, Topgent, Urban Outfitters, Next and If I'm accompanied, and on Ritalin, Primark.

Though I do agree that men that can get into size 6 dresses is slightly weird... unless its for obligatory "lols" or money/gifts are involved. :p

With all that being said, I've accidentally wore my missus' skinny jeans without noticing before... That would make me about a size 10-12 babe ;)

5-11, 13st, 34 waist, I'm not sure how OP is finding it difficult to find non skinny jeans. Where is he shopping, exclusively in top man?

Even topman go up to larger sizes, and have non skinny variety! :p

34" is surely like... the average size for a bloke?

I think it probably is, I think OP's mum needs to try a few different shops.

Try being 6ft 8" and 16 stone . Apparently im overweight and according to my doctor should be 11 stone .

I'm literally just overweight at 5-11 & 13 st so I don't think that is true.

I'm 29 6'3 ~13 stone 32-33" waste and 40-42" chest and always have problems finding smart/casual cloths that fit.
Suits no problem as I get them fitted but jumpers, tops, casual shirts etc are either way too baggy but the right length or fit ok but look like 3/4 length sleeves and keep coming untucked.
I play golf and finding a polo shirt that I can keep tucked in for more than one hole is an issue!
Shouldn't have to put on 3 stone for stuff to fit :(

Another 28yo manlet reporting in.

5'7" and consciously stand up hill of others and carry around yellow pages in a laptop bag in case of level ground

9st wet through - but its all muscle obviously

7% body fat

Don't have a particular problem finding clothes that fit but I detest the current fashion of skinny everything. I tend to go for smart casual outside of work (normal jeans and a shirt). Partial to Charles Tyrwhitt.

I'm 155% of your weight and classify myself as being reasonably thin.(albeit 7-8" taller).

9 stone is dinky. Eat more.
That doesn't work if he is like I was.

I was 5'8" and ~8 stone for much of my late teens to my mid twenties like xdcx. It was extremely frustrating as no matter how much or what I ate I couldn't put on any weight, the harmless comments people make like "you're so skinny I can put my hand around your wrist", "you should eat more", "you need a good meal" etc. really get to you after a while. Since I've turned 30 my body/metabolism/whatever has changed and I've been able to get up to 11 stone.

Not singling you out sports_brah as there have been others making similar comments but he may not be able to help it and there isn't a simple fix like eating more, he certainly doesn't need other guys being ***** and putting him down by saying he isn't a man, he's a manlet or whatever (the dress comment didn't do him any favours tbh :p). Fair enough they're harmless comments on their own on an internet forum but when you hear the same thing over and over again it gets to you. I always thought only women bitch about each other or make snide comments about appearances but guys do it just as much.

xdcx, if you're anything like me you'll start putting on weight when you get older, being skinny isn't long term thing, use this time to eat loads of good food and not worry about being a fatty :)

Sounds like my mate. Claims he can't put on any weight and eats constantly.

I've never seen him finish a meal even on a weeks holiday. He would have a burger, eat a quarter and wrap it up to take home for later lol.

Next jeans (long) are resonably priced and fit well for us with longer legs.

I find Next jeans the best fit for me at the moment. Must say, I found it so much easier buying 38/40 inch waist jeans that appeared to fit me properly, than I do buying 32 inch waist jeans. Even some of them seem a little big around the waist.

6ft 4 and 12st exactly, for the record.

Joining in on stat dropping.

I'm bulked now so not so many problems, but last summer was 30inch waist and 44inch chest... (6ft and like 11.5 stone I think.)

I found buying XL slim fit/custom fit from most brands fit me fine. But then I'm not all too bothered what I wear.

My ventures are like commando raids. Planned meticulously then in, pay and out in a flash. :D

Same. I often knock over dawdlers, and scare a few kids, but that's generally because I forget to close the curtain in the changing rooms.

In and out, nice and quick. That's how I like it. Ooo'er missus.

I went to a shop to try on some jeans and he handed me jeans that I could hardly put my arm down the leg hole - I looked at him and said "really?". Do you not have something that actually fits a more manly physique? The answer was that it wasn't really fashionable to have anything but skinny jeans. I mean seriously, skinny jeans just looks stupid. I don't want every sinew being visible through the fabric, and I'd like to be able to sit down without cutting off the blood supply to my legs!

I pretty much only buy jeans from H&M. I'm a 38 waist, and I have no problem getting jeans that fit. Sure, they are usually at the bottom or top of the shelves but they are there. Sounds like the op was just too lazy to have a good look. Oh, and I hate skinny jeans, and the H&M ones are fine quality for the price.

Shirt, always tucked in.
