Skittles Vodka - How & What flavour combinations should I use?

Can anyone comment on the suitablility of dried chillis for chilli vodka?

I was going to buy some Aji Limon or Chippotle for a more interesting flavour but my normal source is all out of fresh due to the season.

I've been putting off making this stuff, just be cause it reminds me of alcopops which I hate, but to be honest, they look well tasty lol. May nip to Tescos and buy some stuff for it later lol .

Just checked my babies just then and all the skittles have dissolved completely? Has this happened too fast or does the fat at the top continue to flavour it? It also stills smells a bit like paint stripper

Was it sainsburys own vodka? Probably is paint stripper lol. Not that Smirnoff is much better lol. And I didn't want to use my nice(er) Skyy vodka heh.

Hmm, I've got all the colours separated from 3x195g bags, and 3 bottles of 35cl Smirnoff. I have nooo idea what colours to choose lol, so indecisive.

I've removed some of the scum and added more skittles, it's starting to smell nice now

The scum on the top is like butter, really really thick

Just filtered most of the scum off the top to add more skittles in, another 3 big bags Costing a bomb

Word of warning is that tights aren't that good, I recommend getting actual filter paper else its a serious mess.

It can easily be done in 3 hours if you're not a poof. Just shake until they dissolve.

30 Minutes after adding Skittles(Note that I hadn't decided on the 3rd bottle at this point)

1 Hour later, shaken up a bit

28 odd hours later, almost all the skittles have gone, and look at the amount of skumm eeww heh.

Going to be leaving it for next Wednesday or Thursday, depending on what night we go out lol.

Result from all that skittles vodka... I have alcohol poisoning and still feel stupidly ill 2 days after the party. Out of 20 people at the party no one can remember what happened, someone was sick on a bed and someone tried to hoover it up, no idea who.

Good times? Yes. I still feel ill, so no.
