This reminds me of the time I used one of my Insulin syringes to inject Vodka into Oranges for a party . Also mixed it with food colouring so when the orange was peeled you had different coloured alcoholic segments.
Ideal way of taking your own drink on flights/coaches
I've heard of this before, but the difference was to put it in the freezer for a few hours at a time while mixing the skittles in and shaking well. All skittle colours can go in, it just changes the colour and taste!
I put 3 small boxes of them in (5x3x1 cm about I think) , it could have taken more but I think it would start to get a bit syrupy after that.
Also just an ordinary paper towel folded twice over (so its 1/4 the size) and then folded diagonally twice like a coffe filter works fairly well. Two passes through and it was completly scum free.
Okay, morning after the night before (or afternoon)
Both vodkas seemed to work okay. I think 2 bags of jelly babies in 35cl of vodka is far too much, it set when i put it in the freezer, so i had to wait for it to thaw out. So sugary, but so nice.
Extra strong mint vodka is amazing though, ice cold from the freezer, and chills your entire throat as it goes down, i thikn i'll be making some more of this in the future
Right been to shop got 4 35ml bottles and 1L bottle filled, each of 35ml bottles with reds/purples/green/multicolour and the 1L with orange and yellows!
I've done this several times now. 70 cl bottle of vodka and 6 packets of skittles.
The displaced vodka goes into a new bottle with all the green skittles. To the main bottle I also add irn bru and red bull. I find this combination completely removes the taste and burning effect of alcohol. Skittle vodka on it's own will still taste of vodka sadly.
The worst job is sieving out the fat takes ages and it's disgusting.
If you shake it regularly it should be done in 16 hours or less.
