Skoda Superb III 4x4 280 - A sleeper’s journey – 280ps to 560ps

Came across a Seat Cupra R, the fast one at Pod other weekend, it was running high 10s passes.#

Spoke with the owner, he has done similar to you, running 560PS, he also put the AWD rear-end in the car from the Golf R / S3 to make it AWD and was running it on Michelin Cup 2's, seriously quick bit of kit that looked completely stock, even under the bonnet looked pretty much factory.

Yes, there are two of those with the 4x4 driveline. I know one of them very well, I helped him on many of his decisions for the upgrade.

I saw that one a while back, though when I was last there he had crap tyres on it. Good to hear he's bought some new rubber! :)

Ouch. I imagine the car is going to be with that dealer for some time :p Hopefully you've just shifted it to them rather than having it sold on a commission basis if you need to release funds.

Commission basis unfortunately. We start building next year so took it there in advance...

I'd have them rewrite that advert, average joe is going to have no clue of the work that's gone on and would probably pass quickly over it. I know it mentions in the title but i'd still want a better listing.

Surely this type of car would be better sold on via piston heads / enthusiasts forums?

As above, regular AT buyers aren't going to understand this car or it's price.
