Santa Pod - Superb Stage 3 - 11.7 sec @ 121.74mph with a, very slow, 2 sec 60ft

With a good launch this had the potential of an 11.1-11.2 seconds run
Time for better dragstrip tyres next year !

This project is mad, do you've two maps or do you run the superb daily at 560?

I run it at 500 as a daily, more than adequate. I raise the boost for the track and use more meth.

I would be happy with 350-400 for a daily... lol

How much did this project cost you? If you don't mind me asking.

As long as it cost less than the two car garage equivalent of a second hand GTR and a Golf, I'd say its pretty good.

Turbo Technics V4 installed today and to be mapped next week!

Christmas update! I got the car back a couple of days ago with the new turbo installed. Due to the holidays the map is not completed so only running 1.7 bar (with over 2.2 to come). Even with low boost the car feels great and turbo spools from lower rpm as expected and is very smooth. The APR dsg map that I also just installed is great and gives me adjustable rpms for launch control and allows fully manual operation in M mode without changing up automatically while in gears 2 to 5 and also not kicking down automatically either.

What are the predicted figures after the tune?

Not sure to be honest, anything over 550hp at a reasonable boost and fast spool I will be very happy with. Drivability and reliability are what I want now until drag racing season starts at least

Probably a little less as could be going for a bigger turbo for the summer so no need to stress this one, will see
