You could drive a Sierra Cosworth as a daily 30 years ago in 1987 that could easily be modded over 300bhp and the same with with the Escort version 25 yrs ago both family sized cars with 2 litre engines.
And 25 years ago you could have a 500bhp cossie no problem, it wasn't cheap but then neither is this.
One difference is that you would have to rebuild the cossie to do 500 and at the end it would not be the best daily car.
The EA888 gen 3 engine can do 500 easily with standard internals and it still keeps the characteristics of a daily car.
It is a fully custom exhaust from RS Fabrications. Sounds great IMHO, much deeper sound than anything else I heard on this engine type.
