Sky Atlantic

Are they going to cut things like X Files when they are doing three showings a day, including 2 daytime slots? I.e. is the evening one going to be as cut as the two day ones?

edit: On closer examination the "evening" slot is actually 4pm. I guess they will be cut to ribbons then.

This channel will decide whether I keep Sky or not.

Any idea if there will be breaks or not? Hope it stays true to the HBO style of America.

Well, looking at the schedule they've allowed ninety minutes for the first episode of Boardwalk Empire which is only seventy two minutes long leaving eighteen minutes for adverts. Some of those must be mid episode unless they plan on nine minutes of ad-padding on either end of the show.

I hope so.

And nice sig :D

By far my favorite charecter on the show. He plays a scumbag laywer so convincely.

Really loved the finale of the third season. Sets up the forth season to be crazy. Walt and Jess are going to be in a world of **** and will probably have to flee the country to stay alive. I also hope Hank finds out who Walt really is. Three seasons in and he still doesn't know. Starting to get kinda annoying to be honest. How can someone keep being a drug lord so secret. lol.

Nothing on this channel so far temps me. Only thing I can see myself watching is The Sopranos as I've never seen it even though I own season 1 on DVD.

Better upgrade my Sky HD HDD from 250gb to whatever the box will take!

I've been seeing adverts about this new channel for the past few weeks, it looks epic!

I've got a recorder with a 500Gb HD in it attached to my sky box, I just copy the stuff from my Sky box onto that when I need more room on the Sky box :)

I agree, hell the channel is worth it alone for Game of Thrones for me, throw in all the rest too and I can see this rapidly becoming my most watched channel. Especially as HBO repeatedly churn out decent shows , all of which will show on this channel. :)

Not a bad idea that, since i've got one of the newer smaller HD boxes i'm hoping it will take a 1 - 1.5tb drive, we shall see!

Yeah mine is just one of those Panasonic dvd/hd recorders with a 500gb drive in it, then I just use the built-in copy function on the sky planner to copy stuff across onto the recorder

I also looked ahead in the EPG and lots of stuff I want to watch. I actually just started rewatching ER, and think I'll do the same with Six Feet Under - it's been years! Nice that the new EPG has put all the HD channels in place of SD too.
