Sky Broadband Pro

Thanks. Considering their customer base you surely can't expect them to hire 'techy' people exclusively?

Well it was due to be CRT supporting Pro customer but as that team are outbound only it did not work.

And from what I have seen of calls coming in for pro are skipping tier 1 and going directly to CST.

So Pro customer are getting an advantage there.

You'll have to pay more if you want decent first line support.

i know. i was a Be customer for years and because of where i am the best i could get was about 8mbit. sky offered line rental and internet for £7.50 a month so i am getting still more than what i pay for. though i dindt know before i got them that they limit upsync speeds like they do as they dont tell you, its most frustrating.

Calls are actually picked up by the same team that did it for O2 customers in Bulgaria.

I was with BE, got migrated yesterday.

Lost upstream speed and I am on an interleaved line.

I was moved last Friday and yes I have interleaved line now ,pings doubled and lost a third of my upload and now youtube sometimes struggles to play a 1080p video not impressed tbh.
Im not gonna get started on the farce of being on the phone to them for giving me a wrong date for activation and sky not knowing what broadband pro was and saying sky don't do static ips or the fact they said I couldn't have sky through my old BE router and insisted on sending me a sky hub

Currently connected with my old router with a static ip and the sky hubs not been opened :p

Only saving grace atm is the fact the cost has gone from £22 to £12.50 but id happily pay the extra for my old BE line back........

The Hubs will not need to be opened, yes they are set to dynamic but the system is set for static ip's.
