Sky Friends and Family deal thread! Now with, er NOW deals!

@MissChief Would you happen to have any codes for Superfast Fibre? Been keeping an eye on USwitch deals and didn't realise you were able to supply codes for new customers :)
I do! Send me a trust message. (click trust, then click to send a message, not leave trust on my trust mage)

What I don't have is any TV codes left! I'm hoping they'll get renewed next week though.

Stupid question, but I have to ask...

I got a TV and broadband deal with a code (thanks @MissChief ). I've since had FTTP enabled at my address, but Sky don't offer full speeds, so I'm going to have to switch to BT Infinity to get the full beans fibre.

If I'm reading the blurb right, this is going to cost me 13.24 per month (11 months), so 145.64 in early termination fees on the broadband.

They aren't going to do anything daft like make me cancel the whole TV package at the same time? I want to keep my TV and sports etc, just early exit on the broadband....
No, they’re separate contracts so won’t affect the tv.

@MissChief how long are the codes valid for?

My son's in the process of buying his own place and is after Sky (TV and BB), but he's only just had his offer accepted, so might not be moving for a bit.
generally they're good for a couple of months but let me know closer to the time. We don't recommend setting up Sky on moving day! If I run out of codes I can get a colleague to send a code if necessary.

What's the best deal available for Sky TV + Netflix + vanilla HD?

Been away from Sky for over 12 months so think that makes me a new customer again.

It will make you a new customer yes. As for pricing, I have no idea. I've been away from the Domestic side for a couple of years now. Check the standard pricing and deduct 35%.

@MissChief

Morning mate, i've seen an offer on my Sky account page - Netflix for £5 per month. However, it does not say what Netflix package it is. Is this the Netflix premium package? If so, i will sign up.

Ta.
That I’m unsure about. Do you have Multiscreen? I think if you have Multiscreen you get Netflix Premium but I’m not 100% on that. I’ve been away from domestic stuff for two years now.

Had a right shock. My bill is now £113 as my offer has end.
Don’t suppose you have anything for existing customer?
I’m going to have to cancel some stuff tomorrow
Cheers
Again nothing for existing customers I'm afraid. Play the cancellation dance and don't be afraid to put your cancellation in. You have 31 days, even on the day to change your mind. Just make sure you allow contact by phone in your marketing preferences.

@MissChief I have a question...

I've been away from Sky for a year now, moved to Virgin, and my Virgin contract started in July last year, so is due for renewal next month.

I'd like to sack off Virgin telly and use Sky telly, but keep Virgin broadband. Thing is, I still had Sky broadband until September 2020 because I wanted broadband on both Virgin and Sky just in case anything went wrong during the transitionary period because I was working from home during lockdown.

My question with this background info is: If I want Sky telly, I haven't had that since July last year, how hard and fast is that 1 year new customer offer thing? Would I have to wait until September to utilise a new customer offer due to the broadband overhang?

Cheers!
You’ll be fine as a new tv customer.
