Sky Friends and Family deal thread! Now with, er NOW deals!

I've had sky for free for 18 months with my broadband, a really low quality package, it just game basic channels and no HD. Sadly my wife insists on watching it even though a lot of it is SD and have we two 4k UHD TVs... she just likes the interface more than netflix, amazon and the freeview apparently
But now they've started charging me £27.40 a month for "Sky Entertainment" is the package name. I already pay for netflix UHD which is £11.99 a month.
If you have a method of my combining these things together and ideally getting me a better sky package to provide more than SD, I'd appreciate it.
Might be worth giving sky a call then and asking about the new Signature package. Includes Netflix AFAIK.

@MissChief my existing offer comes to an end in march. currently paying £27 for entertainment and Sports with HD.
just spoke to someone and i think the best they would offer was signature pack £15, HD £3 and sports HD £22. so £40.

my dad already has the fibre and phone which comes to £25, he recently switched mobile to sky too for £6 a month.
would it make a difference if i combined both accounts?

i have over a month still, but just seeking some advice
I don’t believe there is any advantage in having the accounts together other than being able to watch Sky TV apps via mobile data without using up your data allowance. The £40 deal isn’t so bad actually.

Hi, I don't suppose there are any new customer offers available at the minute?

My current offer has expired and my bill has/will increase from £32 to £75... Called to see what they can offer and best they're willing to give me is £48 per month for the same package we had before.
There are, but I cannot officially condone nor recommend you cancelling and signing back up again in your Partners, dogs and cats name. Chances are you’ll need to phone as trying to sign up as doing so online will pick up the existing account.

I think I asked a while back on here but im in the middle of buying my first house, sadly no VM available so will be signing up to sky. This is what I want/think I want in terms of a package. With a friends/family code, does anyone know what the price would be?

That is also their 150mb broadband.

EDIT: Had a nightmare uploading the image!

I honestly don't know, but if you send me a trust message I can send you a code and you can check it?

Thank you for the offer, I am not ready to place the order as of yet so I don't want to burn the code if its a one time entry type system?

I am just pricing things up, should hopefully have a more concrete move date in a few weeks so I can always contact you closer to the time if thats best?

Whatever suits you best. my deal is 35% off the TV standard price as well as 35% off broadband including the Ultrafast.

Cheers, if I use your code and it comes up with the price etc that will be all good but I wont be able to place the order so will I need to request another code in a few weeks or can I use the same one until ive actually processed it?

I just dont want to burn any of your codes if I am not processing it yet :)
You'd need to call and quote the code if you click the link just to check the price.

Hi MissChief, could you help me understand how the discount works in a package?

If i take the Superfast BB and TV for £39/month it says the BB is £18 and TV is £21.
I would get the 35% off the TV only?
If i add HD / UltraHD i would get 35% off that cost as well?

So the £39 package would cost: £31.65?
I really wish I could mate, I've been away from Domestic and current pricing for over 18 months now! It's 35% off the basic price, without any introductory discounts, not the currently advertised, discounted pricing.

Hi @MissChief

I'm not currently a Sky Customer. I'm moving house next month, would like to have Sky installed for TV and Broadband. I will have fibre right to my door. Only extra package I would like is the HD/UHD pack, no sports, movies, etc.

What is the current F&F offer?

Cheers,

FB..

I have no idea. I can tell you how much an Ethernet 100/100 circuit will cost you direct to your house, uncontended though. Check out Biz kids post above where he shows prices with my discount on the left side of the picture.

I think I have worked it out, so on the email I got it says...

(Sky TV & Superfast Broadband 35% offer excludes the following: Netflix, Disney+, BT Sport, Sky Broadband Essential, Sky Broadband Ultrafast, Broadband Boost, Sky Talk Anytime Extra and Sky Talk International Extra).

So its because I am picking the ultrafast option that im not getting the added discount, its only going up £12 which isnt too bad at all.
Strange i was told previously the deal would also apply to Ultrafast but that was last year, perhaps it's changed since then.
