His codes will be the same as mine. And Q prices aren't so bad? Not 100% sure but I thought it was £65 for a 2TB or a 1TB free? No real difference between a 2TB Sky+HD box compared to the standard box previously?

Yeah, there are codes available for a Q upgrade, MissChief probably still has a few left. The offers will most likely carry over, but it all depends on the offers you actually have.

Also you can't have Multiscreen at the moment and need to take it when you upgrade!

I don't have multiscreen, but i need to have it to get the 4K on Q . What offers do you have, i don't see Q being worth 20 quid a month extra over what i already have.

what's the best deals currently for telephone, broadband and sky tv with skysports (new customer)? Someone told me in passing they managed to get all that for £40 a month.. on the sky website it comes out as £68 a month..

Just last week I negotiated a new deal £35 for everything for 18 months. Can I use one of the upgrade codes to get Sky Q for extra £12 month? I am still on old Sky+HD with no multiscreen?

Yes. Multiscreen has an 18m contract though which might lower your bargaining power though.

There's currently an issue with the Sky Q upgrade offer where the code shows as invalid. It's being investigated so I won't be sending any of these codes out at the moment.
