It's the compression on the source material at the BBC IMHO.It need 24 Mbps I think, so it might be the broadcast then.

With the recent price increases and my Black Friday deals ending, i just called sky. They pretty much put the price back to what I was paying before the risesJust in the process of cancelling mine. Without the promos the cost has virtually doubled so time to get on the cancel train and see how much they really want me to stay.
The hilariousness continues with my renegotiating

FWIW I pay about the same as you do for all that and got that deal relatively recently. So you should be ok.I currently pay £87 for tv and broadband. Full TV Inc sports & movies with Netflix etc and multiroom.
Got an email offer to renew yesterday for £115 which is way more than I'm prepared to pay. Will call them up tomorrow and see what I'll get offered.
Not sure what you're expecting? Those offers look broadly similar to me and it's probably down to the offers they have that day/week
Fair enough. You'll need to cancel to get anywhere near that and even then, it's probably a stretch. An offer that makes me say yes rather than walk away. Ideally want all of that for £50 but if they can't offer that I'd rather pay them £0 and they lose £50 a month
I have cancelled, my contract ends 30th June. I give it one more chance on the 29th to see what they going to offer.Fair enough. You'll need to cancel to get anywhere near that and even then, it's probably a stretch.
Good luck, though but just be aware that losing £50 means nothing to Sky. Depending on how they're measured, it could be better for them to lose you, than to have you on a crazy-high discount. I guess we'll see.
