The ASRock is the one to go for with the Maximus VIII Impact having no Ultra M.2 slot.
It's the best board so far and there's nothing else been announced for Z170 ITX worth looking at tbh.

The Asrock has been available in UK but maybe has sold out for now, but we are in the EU so can still be obtained.

The only problem is waiting for the outrageous pricing of the 6700K to subside.

So underwhelmed by the boards and the stupid price of the 6700K I'm very tempted to just go Asrock X99E-ITX and a 5230K. It'll be cheaper too.

How are you finding dual channel RAM in the real world? Any tangible drop in performance?

i've never had quad channel memory so i can't really compare

but my mind was made up when i read a review somewhere of the dual channel memory vs quad channel on x99. it changed benchmarks by a fair bit, but stuff like gaming, it was negligible FPS.

I've got some corsair that i took a risk on, as it's not on any compatibility list, and i needed a bios update before they would work. but then the compatibility list for this board shows quad channel kits, so i know it's not exactly correct

can always ask someone to drop 2 sticks from a quad setup and report?
