Now if only you could still set it to compatibility mode so the icon stayed in the systray instead of the bloody taskbar. :mad:

When I saw the title of the thread, I was expecting a geeky rewrite of Ska Sucks. Instead I find only disappointment.

It has an option for this in preferences...... Options -> Advanced - unclick "Keep Skype in the Taskbar when I'm signed in"

Skype is indeed awesome. Use it to keep in touch with the parentals. Most landline/mobile telephone convocations consist of 'skype?' hangup.

It is good, some problems today it seems, but it is always a little flaky showing who is online when you just signed in. Best advice is to just call them, it works even though they say offline on your screen.

Is this a new option? I don't recall ever seeing it before. Maybe I'm just too used to the OS X and Linux versions? *shrug* That did the trick anyway. I'm a happy bunny again.
