Well we will see what happens. I think i heard them say if you have all of skyrim so presumably its either have the legendary version or you have standard plus all dlc. We shall know more soon probably.

If its anything like the upgrade gta 5 got from last gen to current gen it might be kinda cool to try it, free anyhow as most of us probably have skyrim anyhow and if not its probably gona pop up on steam sale for a few quid.

Just rename ur existing builds folder with say "modded" on the end then u can install a new skyrim with the new stuff without it affecting ur modded build.

I wonder tho. Whats the chances that they just grabbed some mods and put them in skyrim and said hey this looks great. Then they thought i wonder if this would run ok on the consoles and maybe release them as a hd remaster so we can sell it again for ps4 and xbone.

As in used something like these mods.

Tho im almost surely wrong and they did the work to emulate said mods probably and then some but would be funny if it turned out to be true.

This is new???

bUseTAA=1

isnt TAA Nvidias newer AA implementation or am i thinking of something else?

Not sure why you need a code for it for a ini when you can select it in gfx options from launch panel. I noticed it too, tho dunno why its taa isnt it txaa?

Also about the new version of the game. I think its nice that its got some gfx improvements but also the 64bit think and new AA is nice and there should be a few engine improvements. What i think this means is that old mods can be made into better mods and possibly new possibilities for modders that couldnt be done before for one reason or another. Mainly looking at that 64bit addition. So while the launch of the new version of the game might not be all that right now, futher down the line i think modders will appreciate it.

Dumb question time, sorry chaps. If i launch Skyrim through steam will it auto update itself to this new version? If so is it likely to break my installed mods, been playing through for the last four weeks or so and not too far off having done all the main quests n stuff and would be real upset if it breaks my game.

I'm pretty sure if i launch it through nexus mod manager with skse launch option it bypasses the steam launcher, i'm almost certain thats what happened when i did it one time before but i don't think the cloud save then uploaded when i quit the game (no big deal since i'm nearly done with this playthrough anyway tbh).

Its considered a new game so does not update your old skyrim. You just see a new game listed in your library and install that like you would a new game you just bought.
