Skyrim vs CoD MW3 sales?

Ive never bought a CoD game, and dont plan to, simply because I dont understand how it can be such a 'great' shooter, when there is such little skill involved compared to cs 1.6, which I used to play A LOT, its just spray spray spray.

Good thing is my friends are massive CoD fans (dont think they ever played 1.6 so have nothing to compare it to) who insist in buying it every year, so I can jus go to their house and play it, and having played MW3 last night at a friends, i actually like it and enjoy it for 'fun', but still so 'meh' at how poor it is, compared to 1.6 so will not be buying it!

Doubtful. The COD series is considered cool with the mainstream crowd, whereas Diablo is hardly mainstream.

Also if it is single platform, it has no hope of outselling considering be default it's not selling to potential players

FF is not a 'premium' brand anymore.

Skyrim will sell enough for the studio to be happy with their decision to make it, not anywhere near as COD but i doubt they care.
 
The games industry magazine... I forget the name, will have the exact sales figures chart. Might be difficult to get hold of as an individual though.
