Sleep... How much do you need?

Turns out i had around 4 hours sleep and im alreet :D

Although my stomach is producing some foul farts

6-7 is fine. When I was a student I used to need 9 minimum, with 12 being my preference. When I stopped smoking I needed less sleep.
 
Slept for around 7 hours, feel knackered though, it's totally random, somtimes I only need 4, somtimes I'll sleep for 12!!
 
7-9 at least, sometimes 10

If i have less than 5 i wake up feeling fine, then 2 hours later feel crap

If i wake up before 9am, i feel terrible till 1pm, don't understand why!

If i sleep from 1am-1pm i feel like i want to go back to bed!

2:30am-10am seems to be about the best sleeping pattern for me.
 
simple answer, i want more than i get, but can get by on next to no sleep if i have to for a day or 2


cafeine and sugar become your friends at this point though
 
Hehe the most ive slept was 16 hours

It was after a hardcore weekend session

Ooooh it was a beautifull sleep
 
I'm having some problems with sleep. I cannot go to bed before midnight and usually am up until 2-3am.

I am having a real hard time getting up in the mornings. Like today I set my alarm for 8am and didn't get up until about 12. Most of this time my alarm was on a 10 min snooze so it was not like I was asleep for another 4 hours.

As I work for myself it means I have pretty much no immediate motivation to get up. It is upsetting me as I am wasting hours in bed.

Anyone any suggestions? Apart from get up you lazy *******.
 
Dont keep your curtains/blinds closed - I always have my blinds open before i go to sleep

In the morning or w/e you cant ignore some good sunlight - If you physically get up and close the curtains/blinds and go back to bed your a loser

^ You need to do something dramatic to change your sleep cycle. Set your alarm for 7am and go straight out for a jog. By the time 10pm comes round you'll be begging for bed.
 
I always aim for 8 hours, realistically about 7 is what I get.

The annoying thing is, I wake up at least 2/3 times a night; I never used to :(
 
i can get by on 5 if im doing somthing if im not like intreged or actualy havin to work ill just snooze but apart from that 8 hours or i get cranky
