Sleeping Dogs performance

First port of call would be are you on the latest drivers and have you installed the latest caps?

Apart from 2x6850's what is the rest of your pc specs?

have latest drivers and caps, i've sorted it now.

other people having various problems suggested minimizing and maximizing the game at launch, which surprisingly fixed it haha, got good performance now and i'm enjoying the game so far! :p

Do you need to go back and change the settings to Full Screen everytime you do that though? I'm also enjoying it, thought it was rubbish on the xbox strangely (or not so)

Just ran this on my 690s - not good lol

I got 71 fps @1600p

And 112 fps @1080p

I have not done a screen shot as I have not downloaded and used the High res textures that the benchmark mentions, if I had the above figures would have been even worse.

Where do I get the High res textures from ?

When I get time I will give this a run on my Matrix Platinums and hopefully do better.

Thanks

Put it on extreme, you pansy :p Scared of frying your VRM's?

Wow thats pretty close and we have the same CPU.. though i was clocked at 4.5GHz.

I stuck the Samsung 830 SSD i had my games installed on in a laptop so my games are back on a 2x 1TB Samsung F3 RAID0 partition but i guess that wont change any benchmark results.

:)

This game is so gpu dependant i don't think cpu speed will make any difference.

I have my games on a Sata 2 SSD. I don't think it makes any difference to fps but levels load faster and such.

Yep.. its well worth the trade by putting the SSD in my laptop.. its like a new machine compared to the HDD that was in it :)
