Sleeping Dogs

Or down on the d-pad if you're using a controller :)

(holding also lets you drop weapons if you're holding a weapon you can't holster, like an assault rifle)

i put all graphics up to max and my 7970 was going full blast at 85degrees and my mobo monitoring software didnt like that the pci-e slot was at 60 degrees.

I have 16hrs put into the game and I am at 70%. There certainly is a lot of content in there.

Aside from doing two key missions yesterday, I spent a lot of time doing the side missions and the gang busts, the latter of which do get very hard! One bust ended up in a mad 11 man shoot out, with the cops joining in. It was sheer chaos.

The high speed shaky cam doesn't bother me really and I kind of like it. I have no pet peeves on this game at all. I think it is superb, and wish Mafia 2 ended this way as that was a huge dissappointment.

I just want a sequel or some big DLC RIGHT NOW! :o

Ya this pee'd me off, took at least 3 attempts and i managed to clean out the area on the 3rd then had to go back to it to hack the camera

I agree, if theres any DLC for missions then I'm buying just cause the games awesome

I just finished Sleeping Dogs.... 30 hours it took me, I did all the side content too.
What can I say, other than..

I NEED MOAAAAR.

But seriously, fantastic game. I was (am) actually sad that it is over. That does not happen with many games. Wei Shen is now firmly in the league of (anti)heroes alongside Max Payne, 47, JC Denton and others as the most awesome protagonists ever.

I wish United Front and Squeenix all the success they can get and pray for a sequel, with big expansion coming first though.

I can already imagine, meeting Wei few years later, in another place..like Singapore..or Bangkok..on another blood and broken bones filled adventure.

yeh im becoming a fan of this game now too, theyve for sure improved on gta, i have more fun playing this, tho i not gone very far in the storyline and im finding some stuff buggy on the fails :p

i liked mafia2 more than gta anyway, strangely addicted to this when i should be practicing LoL :)

I found a gang bust and they all had guns and I didn't, I must have died about 15 times trying to take them out with my fists, so I managed to get one go stealthing up to them and disarming one and gunning them down. I felt well proud, then as I was walking away I noticed at the top of the steps there was a gun on the crate... I'd spent about an hour trying different approaches and it could have been done so much easier if I noticed the gun at the only entrance to it! -.-

Was fun though :D

hehe yeh some the fights can b awesome
where does it tell u what car you are driving?
i want buy the same one that i just stole but i cant figure out which it is :p

Might want to get his own company to sort his own website out for him.

Indeed. Calling himself a web designer then using tables for non-tabular data actually makes me feel like punching him in the face. He has a pretty punchable face too.

Started off meh, but now this is actually really fun!

Also cops in this game are a bitch. I only wanted a pistol :(

12.5 hours in. Story 60% complete here. Still plenty of mileage left in the game. I have been playing it in little bits really. There are very few games where I will play in large chunks and complete it quickly.

Some of the set-pieces are incredible, and the high-speed chases during missions are great, I am amazed at times at how good it looks, and how well it runs during these scenes. GTA has serious competition in my eyes(though to be fair, I have no doubt that GTA will raise the bar once more)

Found me a cool melee weapon. :D

Running on Medium settings on my 275GTX and it still looks fantastic. Played it for 4 hours, I've just done the mission where
you plant a bug in the Golden Koi,
so not too far in.

The fighting is slick, and I never feel that it's unfair, as it's usually a mess-up on my part that stuffs me up. Driving is... meh. I like my driving to be more realistic, but it's still somewhat decent.

Loving the gritty back alleys and such, it's a really atmospheric game. Can't wait to play more tonight!
