SLI/CF is microstutter an issue for you?

What these graphs don't show is the huge spike when exiting the benchmark.

I'm using Chrome and can see all.

You've clearly got some demnons* in your system.

*not a typo, this is a callback to a lolz featured in GD

Driver issues Matt?

:p

Lol.

I'm using chrome too and it's working, run ccleaner and get rid of the dodgy stuff in your temp folder.

Is it me or are some of the links not working ?

;)

Might be an issue with image shack as i can see all the other links, just not Locky's.

I dont get Microstutter with anything i play and i play all the latest games and old games.

As for BF3 there was a lot of testing going on over at Guru3D with BF3 and certain drivers.
The game runs good and bad depending on what driver set your using and Inspector tweaks according to testing by users.

I do spend lots of time tweaking my games but i get no problems and Farcry 3 ran as as smooth as silk for me once i tweaked it.
I didnt run great out of the box though.

Vsync off and no frame limiter, no tweaks, out of the box.

That image is still not working. Even when i copy the link into another chrome tab it doesn't work.

Tried IE that doesn't work. Can view it on our other pc. I wonder if it has anything to do with the virgin media connection on this pc. :D

It could be something to do with Adblock Plus i have installed on chrome.

You can see it on the quote, but not in the original post?
That's pretty weird because both posts are sourcing from the same link.

Yes when Greg quotes Lockys post i can see it, but i cannot see it when i look at Lockys post. I've reinstalled Chrome, turned off Adblock, neither have helped. I'm stumped.

Finally had a little time away from work for a play and bought Crysis 3 last night to take a taste of cutting edge visuals ... half price so not too bad a deal

Have just run this, a few spikes. Not all that sure how to interpret.
Based on a website I looked at, first level, 90 seconds from being handed the side arm.

Didn't notice any micro stutter, but there is a lot of rain!

Looks fine and looks a little stuttery at the start but then looks pretty smooth. The 560's look like they are holding their own :)

I think some of the frame times at the start are due to it being part cut scene. Seems to hold about 30fps then increase once I have free movement.

Dropped it down to high with no AA for:

Is there a standard map to benchmark BF3, haven't launched it for nearly a year due to working abroad and figure the map size can make quite a difference.

I'm battling the upgrade itch. Trouble is @ 1080p, the 560's are doing a little too well for me to buy anything shiny and new given I'm <20hrs per month gaming these days.
I have to confess I keep looking at the 660ti SLI, 670SLI, 680, titan , 7950CF etc but then I get around to the point.... I need more gaming hours.

For BF3, most of use the Operation Swordbreaker run. Start the bench from when the music starts and you are in the truck and end it when you hear the guy shout "I am up, I am up".

I have just discovered this way of doing it. Its a very consistent way to bench battlefield 3. Forget swordbreaker, that's for chumps. ^^ :p We all used to use that method, but this way is much more consistent.

The problem with that for some will be how far into the game it is. It is not far from the end of the game.

No its not there are 12 missions and its the 6th mission.

But even still, that is a long way into the game. Not that it matters but for benching purposes, it is better for guys who are just upgrading and want to see how they fair or to test frame times, to use a standard that we all know. No point changing to a different standard because Linus is doing it.
