Slow boot times with Crucial M4 RAID 0

Just did an ATTO bench on my RAID setup on the 64Gb M4s and it maxes out at around 550Mb/s. Surely because they are in raid they should be about 1000Mb/s?

Well, even though I had the SATA mode set to RAID/AHCI/XHD in BIOS I needed to enable xtreme hard drive (XHD) in BIOS. I was getting half those speeds before.
