I deliberated over whether to post this. On one hand, I want to show of my* new car but, on the other, I risk the wrath of Fox. Cunning as he is, he's soon going to point out 2 things that I've intentionally neglected to mention.

Here goes anyway...

Audi A6
S-line
Daytona Grey (Pearlescent)
19" Wheels
MMI / DVD Nav
Parking sensors
Xenons + running lights
Heated leather seats with s-line embossed
Lovely sports wheel
Bluetooth
Likely a few toys I've not discovered yet

It's not exactly my dream car but it looks fantastic, I definitely chose the best colour, dealer service (Brighton Audi) has been excellent, the ride isn't anywhere near as harsh as I expected and it's plenty powerful enough.

Be as cruel as you like, I have broad shoulders :).

* 2 year lease. The reasons are my own.

I think it's 7". There is a secondary display behind the steering wheel too.

It's like a challenge. Are the two things I am meant to point out:

a) It is a 2 litre diesel
b) It was introduced 7 years ago and ordered at the same time as a completely new model is launched?

:p

looks nice.

Is the nav screen as small as the picture makes out ? looks like its iphone sized ?

huh? looks loads bigger than an iphone.

I really like that interior.

It's a shame the OP is so defensive, we're not that bad are we?:(

Damn, that was faster than I expected.

Edit: Defensiveness was in good humour.

I Like it but...

are the headrests black and the rest of the leather grey? and does it indeed have a 2 litre derv engine....wouldnt that be quite a small engine for such a big car?

To be tailgating in the fast lane on a motorway near you. :p

One question, where is the handbrake? :o

Might have one of those footbrakes?

That actually sounds stupid....a handbrake that is activated by your left foot and released by a switch somewhere....there that sounds better

It's a 2.0 TDI (170) but, being all aluminium, it doesn't weigh much more than a Golf. I've driven and owned 'fast' cars and this is plenty quick enough.

Interior is black/charcoal. It's just the lighting and cheap camera making it look grey.

Handbrake is electronic, to the right of the gearstick.

Edit: That 0-60 is for the 140 PS model AFAIK.

to be honest if the price reflects the fact audi want to get shot of all the old stock its may not be a bad buy.

Yes the new one will be a nicer, but everything that costs more is usually nicer. You have to draw the line somewhere.
