Similar. I'm confusing myself now, I saw what I thought was a 7 series diesel that had the "look". Long, low and sleek, but it didn't look like the 635d that I can find pictures of, and it seems there is nothing similar in the 7 series range, bizarre!

I have black kidney grilles on mine. I hate chrome. Ive got no chrome on my car (I think).

Shadowline is black chrome window surrounds but the kidney grills are bright chrome still, like this . . . .

But you can get Black grills, but they match the rest as they are not matte . . .

I think you are thinking of may be new vs old 7 and new vs old 6 series (but there are no 2 door 7s as far as I know)

My wife wants a four door 6 series to replace our 5 :rolleyes:

Heres mine. Theyre matte black. I have the original chrome ones but I dont like them.
