Smartphone addiction

It's odd how so much availible freedom takes away your freedom.

I typically check my emails and Facebook first thing too, because I can.

The other thing I find pathetic is the constant texts between two girls (I don't know if this happens with boys) when they are going out or whatever and asking the tiniest details one at a time.
We men either ring up (first choice) and get it all questions & answers done within 30 seconds or write a text asking - Why what where when how who with but girls will have 50 texts going between each other.

It makes them feel good that they have so many messages. They want to use up there unlimited texts yo!

I have a GS2 btw.. watching movies on it is painful.

TV shows are better, but then you clearly weren't an early adopter of watching videos on phones.

Compared to the 176x220 2.2" display of my MPX200, 240x320 2.8" display of my XDA Mini S, and 480x800 3" display of Xperia X1, my SGS2 is a bloody dream to watch stuff on.

One of my mates had a girl who would pick up her phone and check her messages/FB when they were in the middle of bedroom olympics lol:p...felt sorry for him as she was a stunner but the first few times he just laughed it off but it got to a point where she was doing it all the time :/

Me?? i turn my phone off when im with the missus or i put it on silent so i dont get disturbed when im with her.

You take your OH out to dinner and play on your phone instead of talking to her?

i'm sure she feels very special to be dining with you.

Whats wrong with talking with her and playing on my phone at the same time, hence why I don't see it as rude.

Lol just for laughs its our 8 year anniversary tonight and she wants to go to some sushi place (raw fish *barf*) lol

Sushi isn't raw fish...

Oh be quiet.

Really? always thought it was

why? and er.....no lol

Playing games whilst out with someone is incredibly rude, why bother going out if you aren't going to show them attention and have a conversation? To think otherwise just shows what a simpleton and a pleb you really are. I feel sorry for your girlfriend, if she really exists...

I said be quiet because the majority of your posts make you come across like an utter simpleton, it's not a good look. I'm just trying to help you out.

Why is it rude? I listen and respond to the person talking and yes she does exist, like I said it's our 8 year anniversary today

I'm just trying to help you out.

Find a less condescending way

Its rude because your interest is elsewhere, sure you might answer yes/no when absolutely necessary but you won't be engaged in conversation with them, that takes concentration and a thought process.

I wouldn't be too worried though you don't seem like you would be able to handle the thought process for a conversation in which you actually make an impact.

I am glad you have found someone who will "appreciates" you for who/what you are :).

Sarcasm comes across over the internet if written well enough lol
