The Pixel 3 is due out on the 4th October. I think they may announce it then.

I want to upgrade from my S3 frontier to the new 46mm Galaxy Watch (Mainly because it water proof)

But the new 46mm Galaxy watch is only available with a silver housing and no black option :mad:

Anyone with an S3 frontier & note 9?

Since getting my note 9 Ive found the screen on my S3 doesn't automatically light up with the notification like it did on my note 8.
Checked the obvious in settings on the watch & phone but can't find anything wrong.

Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

Having googled the issue it seems to be a known problem if you restore the S3 rather than a full new install.

All working ok now.

Glad I sold my S3 when I did then. Any idea how the new one differs from the S3? (not had a chance to catch up on the news yet).

The new WearOS updates are coming in the next 2 weeks. And no Pixel watch this year.

Yes bit gutted when I heard that, trying to see what I can get for the £300 mark, fitness first then smart features but not Apple Watch as I have the Pixel2XL

Water proof like the Gear sport (can swim with it)
removed MST tho

Hmm removing MST is a bad move shirley? I confess I never used it though as I preferred G.Pay on my phone.

I would pick the Huawei watch 2. Keep an eye on hotukdeals.

Will this device get the new wear os 2 I've been reading it will, not sure when the rollout will be though

This might end up being the watch for me albeit over a year old now

It's been as cheap as £150 on amazon. So don't be in a rush to buy.
The new chipset is out next month, but who is going to use it is I have no clue.

But soon(2019) there will be a Huawei watch 3

Yeah I'm looking at the HW2. Ironically I bought it back in the last Amazon Prime sale when it was super cheap (xmas?) but sent it back as I figured I didn't need it! Bugger.

I noticed I've got a dead pixel on the GWR, thankfully its very near the edge at about the half past 8 mark so I don't notice it much. But I think its on its last legs and its getting slow and not had an update for a long time, security patch is July '17.
