Big fan of Zwan though, who were shamefully underhyped
I thought the same, great album, had tickets for Manchester and then it all went down the toilet.

Love SP and they're one of the few bands I still listen to since my tastes changed.

Longstanding fan too - first saw them in an old UK metal mag called Rock Power circa 1991
If you like the Pumpkins, another good band with a similar feel is Silversun Pickups. Having exhausted the Pumpkins back catalogue, I was looking for something similar. Carnavas and Swoon are both excellent guitar heavy rock albums.

One of the best bands of the 90s, not to mention one of the most utterly divisive largely due to Corgan's nasally vocal style.

I agree they should have remained split up. And I also agree that Zwan were in fact very, very good.

I think his voice is amazing, such power.
Pumpkins will be a band I will always be happy to listen to. Same as 15 years ago.

Holy jeebus yes, I've been listening to both those albums for the past two months solid. I'm not sure about all the SP comparisons everyone makes about them but they are really good.
