Because it ****ing stinks? The amount of people that get on the bus that stink to high hell of fags is staggering. Disgusting habit, i don't care if you pay to kill yourself just don't bring that crap near me. Smoking should be banned in public. Period. If you want to smoke you can stink out your own house, not places that other people use. What grinds my gears is when people stand right by doors into shops and supermarkets puffing away, some of them may as well be inside with how close they stand to the doors. I've suffered smoke inhalation when trying to enter some stores.

it isn't your free choice, it is an addiction

you smoke because you were a muppet when you were younger and now you're going to find it hard to quit - there is no benefit to derive from it other than relieving a craving
 
just been to the local hospital, at the main entrance there are signs everywhere saying it is illegal to smoke in this location

out walk three women - one slim the others with pot bellies... surprisingly it seems it is the non pot bellied one who is pregnant, the other two are simply fat... they stand in front of the no smoking sign, the fat one lights up a cigarette... and then the pregnant one does too, and then the other fat one...
 
may aswell lock this thread now as its just attracting the self righteous types.

nah, just ignored them... was merely commenting on how classy they were, such great lifestyles, I'm sure the unborn child will appreciate his chav mum's lack of willpower and common sense
 
Started when I was young lad but quit a while ago. Now I just smoke when I'm out a weekend mainly because I enjoy a smoke with a pint when I'm out.

Love the amount of high-horsing going on in this thread by the way. If you're walking behind me while I'm having a smoke and feel that the smoke may impact you prrecious lungs to the point that you could spontaneously keel over then feel free to cross the road, or walk into traffic. Either is fine.

I'll make a conscious effort not to smoke in places that could affect non-smokers 99% of the time e.g. well away form entrances/exits and usually not just when walking down the street.

As a non smoker that is all I care about :) if u smoke walking down the road that's up to you the air is hardly pure as it is lol

Same for bad driving, mobile phone users, people who don't wash... seemingly ever, god-awful perfume, stinky food, flatulence, halitosis, music I don't like, Daily Fail readers, plus whatever else I can think of to rant about today... :rolleyes::p
