I was doing some cable management after installing my new PSU, and I accidentaly bashed the power connector on my HDD. The Plastic bit came off and is now stuck in my power connector attached to the power supply, the pins are all still in tact and attached to the HDD so i managed to slot the connector back on but I would like to fix it as it is not really a long term solution, any ideas?

I did this once, gutted, then noticed that the drive also had an old school 4-pin molex power connector :p Worth checking!

If you cant/don't want to glue it, some hard drives have the connectors on a small PCB which can be replaced if you can get hold of a spare from the manufacturer.

Glue it back as has been said, what I managed to do for extra support was glue and extra piece of plastic on the underside directly to the SATA cable to keep everything in a fixed position :)

I just sucessfully RMA'd a drive back to Samsung after the data connector snapped off leaving just the pins.

Superglue, or that plastic bonding stuff Warhammer people use for their models worked best for me.
