First game the graphics were dated to the year it came out, which was in 2005. I enjoyed the game play but there was changes I would make. From the top of my head scroll wheel was to change stance from walk to run and other movements were not very smooth but overall that can be forgiven for the awesome bullet time effect. It also told you the distance of the shot so it was always a challenge to get a really long shot. mavity effects are also in the game making it more realistic, that was great. I always wanted SE2 and I was excited when I saw ghost warrior, however this was disappointing.

I can't wait to see in-game of SE2 as this hasn't been released yet. Interested

Loved Sniper Elite - played it through again earlier this year.

Not sure about the xray skeletal vision on the kill shots, though!

It's a good idea, I just hope there is an option to turn it off as the novelty will wear off fast

Ohhhh, this could be fun. I'd quite like a modern one too.
Adjusting camo, long slow stalks the full monty. But I doubt that would sell.
I hope there is a demo to see if it's what I hope.

Imagine if you had to get a plane wait 6 hours inflight and then to trek 4 hours over mountains to your target now that would be a funny game

The factors involved in firing a bullet vary wildly, especially at higher difficulty levels. At the highest setting, players must watch smoke for indications of wind, hope a particular bullet can puncture wood, guess how far a bullet will drop depending on the distance and attached muzzle, and hold their breath at the right moment before pulling the trigger. And on certain levels, like Andy Dufresne busting out of Shawshank, thunder plays a critical role in masking gunfire.

good game, but the wind effects/ fall of shot were way over exaggerated for those close ranges, because for most of those shots in real life, you just point and shoot.

i hope they correct this next time

Never even heard of the original Sniper Elite, but do love stealth FPSs.

What is the setting? You playing as Vasili Zaitsev (the sniper that killed 225 Germans including 11 snipers) in Stalingrad?

I for one will be buying this at release. It looks damn awesome to me.

Ive been playing the 360/PS3 demo over and over the past few days, I cant wait to see the PC version in all its max settings glory!

For anyone that dosent know much about the game, it has a new feature since the original - slow motion xray vision kill shots, it reminds me of mortal kombat, but I think its so good, need to know more? Check this video out from the console demo (PC demo coming soon, full game releases on Steam May 4th 2012.)

It has Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud etc according to Steam, does this mean its Steamworks?

Best price is on Steam so far I think, £26.99 and includes pre-order bonus DLC of a couple extra weapons and an extra level where you can snipe Hitler!
