Can you confirm what CPU and GPU clocks you are using please.:)

A quick run for confirmation I've set this up right?

Gpu's 2x780's @ 1200/1700

3960X @ 4.5GHz

Yes everything is in order.:)

Thanks.

Benchmarks are dangerous, seems sandy bridge and slow pci-e are dragging me down. Thinking about a 4930k upgrade  Might just have to dabble in some quadfire if I did that, have 2 more 290's for mining :p

X79 is a dangerous platform to get onto, it is so good you always want more.

Socket 2011 can seriously damage your wallet.:D

If i was to go to x79, Probably switch to a 900d. That means more watercooling gear. That's expensive :( Would need another PSU as well. quickly turns into a several thousand upgrade lol

Edit: Updated scores, not much improvement but there is still distance to go. Only at +81mv for core voltage right now.

And on the scoreboard.:)

Nice score kaaps:cool:

I have a quick question guys if i may, rather than starting a new thread thought i'd try here.

I'm going to be putting my 290X underwater next week, and my question is:

The max my card can do on Air is around 1240/1500 -1250/1625(depending on benchmark), How does watercooling your GPU help with overclocking?
Does having a low load temp make a card more stable? or is it just the fact that due to lower load temps, you're able to run more voltage thus getting a previously unstable clock, stable?.

It's bugged me for a few days, my thinking is that colder temps must make it more stable, i've ran a benchmark first thing in the morning and completed it successfully, yet at the same clocks and voltage later in the day it failed.

Sorry if it's a dumb question guys, just looking for some clarification to ease my tormented mind.:D

Watercooling improves things all round but don't expect a huge jump in performance.

It helps with stability quite a bit, cooler is better.

You can use higher volts due to temps being lower but this will only allow you to overclock a little bit more.

You should see a lot less artifacts when benching.

You will be looking at about 15 to 20mhz higher on the cores in performance.

With watercooling it is the all round package, more performance, less noise, more stability, lower temps and better looks. All these together make it well worthwhile.

Ok I uninstalled the Standalone and reinstalled my Steam copy to play the 3 DLC's I never knew about (played Hitler one) so v1.05 to v1.11

But my Logs have mad high FPS that cannot be true for those settings in the logs which are same as all others here and in OP.

The FPS do not match screen capture so I deleted the folder and now I still can still bench but have no folder with logs.

We really need your logs for the scoreboard.

With the max fps it can go quite high, I have managed over 1100fps in one of my runs.:)

Here is one of my runs with very high max fps.
