Sorry, I couldnt bear to look at the thread with the name the wrong way round.

Anyway, Im going to be getting this on launch.

I am a sucker for buying unknown games.

I loved Sniper Elite so we shall see how it goes.

The devs are definitely talking it up on their twitter feed as you would expect them to do but they are definitely pressing all my buttons.

Remembered watching one trailer of this where sniper clearly had a mahussive silencer on his damn rifle only for the loudest crack to emerge when he fired it. Really hate lack of attention to even basic detail like that.
 
VSS firing SP-6 ammo *** :p


Although if you want real silence the MSP firing sp3 ammo is as good as it gets, loudest thing in it (including the bullet flying through the air) is the click of the firing pin.

Sadly it's only a pistol though.

I've seen videos of wind and mavity being applied but in the most comical and arcadey ways.

The scope had a sliding bar which would slide to indicate wind speed and direction, there is a heartbeat monitor and all. Oh, and on easy you even get a box showing where your bullet will end up if you are not able to predict.

Looks like it would be better suited in a SEGA arcade machine.

BF2.
There is not a lot better that going Sniper on a Vehicle map & being a pain in the **** to the enemy.
Personally I love Kubra Damn, Spawn as Yank & try to get to MEC main base, I've had Tanks & troops close enough to touch without them spotting me & the Buzz is unreal. :cool:
 
It could be a fun, arcadey single player game, but just imagine how bad the multiplayer is - it'd be like joining a BFBC2 game to find everyone has gone sniper, camping it up on n00b mountain.

Have preordered. Fair bit of realism with wind/heartbeat/bullet-drop to consider. 16 person multiplayer - P2P I'm guessing but hey it's cheap enough (not on Steam though - £29.99 :eek:). Looks like nades, pistols & knives are online - no assult rifles confirmed for MP.

Seems like Amazon might be the cheapest for the PC version - can I say that if OCUK don't sell it?
