Just heard from my dad that he was in his bedroom and a group of people started throwing snowballs at the windows. According to him they were around my age. When he went outside to tell them to stop, they threw a few snowballs at him and ran away.

He thinks it's just boys being boys, but I think that them throwing snowballs at stranger's windows is bordering vandalism.

What do you guys think?

While it is pretty stupid and annoying, it's hardly vandalism. Go outside with your dad and get them back! Live a little!

BTW, what part of NW are you in 1/3/5 etc.?

I suppose, but it could still be defacing property? I ended up cleaning a fair bit of snow off the windows - they threw quite a bit.

 personally i would not like people throwing snowballs at my windows but i dont think i would go to the extreme's of cleaning the snow off the windows , the whole country has just been covered in the stuff

The title of this thread has immense comedic potential, I just hope somebody is able to find a way to utilise it (I can't think of a way of doing it that won't lead to a ban).

You must be a right bore if you think this is not appropriate.

Oh wow, I'm boring because I don't like hurling snowballs at other people's windows. Yes, you can judge my whole personality like that

I don't hate snowball fights, I had a few today. But I don't go round throwing snowball's at people's houses, but, as the replies in this thread have led me to believe, it's acceptable, so I may relent.

Vandalism - Willful or malicious destruction of public or private property

so what was destroyed or damaged by these snowballs ?
