Snowing!

Yup, same here in Kent, about half an inch to an inch. As usual that means gridlock on the roads and 4 times as long to get to work!!!!

Snow! A very rare sight here in tropical Brighton :D

Had some snow here in Stanmore too so no doubt the London transport system will grind to a complete halt! Glad I'm off work this week and don't have to drive anywhere. At least it gives me a good excuse to stay in and play WoW all day:)

haha, looked outside my window in goring today, with no traffic it looks twice as worse as that! Really is bad, not going to uni.

Cars are turning back at falmer/sussex uni and sliding down the hill, lol.

Really really happy it's snowed! I haven't seen snow in London like this for years - it's so beautiful.

Naturally public transport will be a massacre today :D

Good job i don't have to go to work today :D had a good inch or so, think i', going to go and make an elite snowman

Yep people are crap drivers when it comes to snow.
I just had some mum doing the school run in her espace hit the back of my new mini outside the house. Luckily for me it's only got a small scratch on the bumper of mine while her car is a mess. The bumper pushed back, breaking the front lights which shoved the bonnet up and creased that. I also noticed her radiator was leaking so she probably will not get home.

Also I've heard people have been spinning out of control while going down the hill where I live :(

We got a full whitey in Hinckley. Started last night some time and i woke to the whitey this morning. Roads seem clear though which is good as i have to go out later.

Yeah I'd like to know when our county council decided to stop gritting our roads.
They only do the main roads now.
They used to run through one road of the village so at least 2 of the ways up the hill were clear, leaving the steeper 2 unpassable. I just got told of one woman who lost control of her car trying to get down the hill and so had to get someone else to drive it to the bottom for her :D
