Snowing!

Snow here :D

Main roads are pretty clear, but the smaller estates around here (including mine) are all covered.

Makes for good drifting anyway :D

The view from my kitchen window in (usually) sunny Worthing this morning. About 5 or 6cm

Got to the station to find no trains. A couple of flake of the white stuff and the whole rail network grinds to a halt  Finally made it into work at 10.

I should've stayed at home, it would've been nice to take a wander along the beach today.

No, I live near Dartford in North West Kent....next door to Bluewater in fact and go to Goldsmiths College, London. Im here now in fact, in the computer room, avoiding work :D My best mate goes to Canterbury and his girlfriend is at Christchurch though.

By the way, driving up the A2 today != fun. But from what I hear, the trains were in a right state and sitting in a cosy warm car with the radio up beats standing shivering my nuts off on a freezing platform waiting for a train any day :D

Yep, we had about an inch or so here in Kent.

It's meant to be pretty bad again tonight in Kent/Sussex so I can't wait :D

Today: Further sleet or snow showers are expected, heavy at times, especially across Kent and parts of East Sussex, especially over the higher parts. Cold in brisk northeast winds. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Tonight: Further sleet or snow showers are expected overnight; again, especially Kent and E.Sussex, where a few centimetres are possible, notably on the downs. Stiff northeasterly breeze, easing later. Widespread frost. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Whereabouts are you? For once it seems pretty universal. I remember last year, practically the entire country got some snow apart from north west Kent :/

Where are you then????
I'm in West Kent (Tunbridge Wells) and we have quite a bit here...

EDIT: Sorry I misread your post.

Next to Bluewater. There was a good inch or too on my windscreen and when I cleaned it off, it was good snow as well....fluffy and soft :D

Wish I was 10 years younger. Looked down my road and saw the neighbours kids having a snowball fight. Was tempted to join in :D

You live in Kemp Town I see :)

Kemp Town it is :)

I think most of the little kids around here (apart from the ones that get to go ski-ing) have never seen snow before as it's so rare down here. :D

Woke up this morning and was about 2 inches everywhere.

Staggered off to the station and jumped on the train and at work now theres still some snow on the roof tops that I can see from my window. (Central London)
