I saw 16 flakes of snow on my way into work today. It's bloody freezing and there was a lot of scary looking cloud around but no real snow yet.

It is baking hot here outside London. So hot, infact, that I've got out the inflatable pool and intend to spend the afternoon wallowing in the loveley heat.

Snow flurries down here though.

BBC online weather is crap.... I know weather is unpredictable but I can check it one day and it will say cloudy but mild, the next day it'll be clear and freezing

Aceface57, what you think of Aberdeen City Council's shoddy attempt at preparing/clearing the roads? I have never seen a citys roads in such abismal condition and for the council who "saw the snow coming well in advance" it just isn't good enough!

I know what you mean, the paths are a complete disgrace. You would be safer walking on the road. But that's aberdeen for you...

I'll be going up the hill sideways if it snows. I'm quite good at it now.

I'm surprised it didn't snow last night actually, it was absolutely freezing and it had that bite that normally means it's going to snow. Not a drop though, just that hardcore ice that you need to lean into to get off.
