So, anyone got an iRobot Roomba or other robot vacuum cleaner?

Awesome. I might just dive into that one. 3yr warranty seems decent too, although they sell through Amazon which always makes support easy :D

We're pretty much 99% tile with only some fairly low pile rugs so shouldn't have any issues there. Hopefully navigation is as good as you say. Our Eufy really struggles. I drew a no go area and it just drives into it and then throws up an error because it can't cross the virtual boundary to get back out!

No longer getting a full clean out of a charge on my Roomba J7 - anyone replaced the factory 1,800mah battery with a cheap non-branded "4,000mah" pack which will almost definitely not be 4,000mah?

The huge price disparity between them makes me tempted to try the knock off!

@Demon i played the masterful stroke of taking the wife to see the smaller L10 in a local shop. She commented the base wasn't that bad, then the L40 arrived today and is huge!

A shame the X40 Master isn't a little cheaper. The idea of plumbing it in would be awesome and the smaller base was nice. I also considered the Narwal Freo Z, but it was an extra €100 and i already felt €850 was a bit excessive as it is. As you say, over 3 years it's under €1/day and hopefully it proves worthwhile.

:) - Yeah, the 40 series tanks are huge, but on the plus side, you don't need to change so often.

However, I thought you could get water hook up kits for most of them, i.e. this list the L40 Ultra as compatible:
https://www.mazlikov.eu/l10s-pro-ul...2--x40-ultra--l40-ultra-water-connection-kit/ it seems to be a block that connects to the two tank connection points..
