So, Anyone Got Their Christmas Tree(s) Up Yet?

Yup, been hassled constantly the last few weeks, so finally relented and got it out of the attic. Ended up causing a row with the other half because I put the lights on wrong, so she's moving out after Christmas :cry:

No point you putting a tree up tbh, sounds like a lot of effort every year anyway if you only have it up for a few days.

There's other things you can do to lift spirits up which doesn't involve putting up decs earlier than usual. Watching your favourite films/tv series, playing up beat music, wear brighter clothing etc.
 
At work we have, as they turned the Xmas lights on the area last week and it's 'requested' that businesses put their decorations up at the same time if any are going up.

At home earliest it will go up is this weekend, but we've got a new puppy and she'll love it if we put the full-size tree out so may go with a small one that's not on the floor this year.
 
did the fake little tree and all the decorations about a week ago to cheer the place up a bit.

plus i had to rescue my Santa statue from his box, poor man has been in the cold attic all year
