certainly all the evidence available shows that it is social conditioning and that you aren't 'born that way'.
although many people choose to believe the latter is it not backed by scientific evidence - that doesn't make it wrong (or right), its simply the way it works.

1) you can be genetically a woman but have a mans body, and vice versa,
2) the mental bit is seperate

so your friend may have genetically been a woman in a mans body, and so was partly wired to be a woman, so felt he had the wrong body...

but mentally he may have still been partly male so liked women....

thats not to say all gays would have the wrong genetic for their body, however in some cases it will be the case..

(I have seen several programs that explain that sexual features are expressed very late in development of a baby and are go a large degree caused by ?hormones? i think, If this is incorrect please correct me )

Who cares what lesbians want? It's not men anyway. And why do you want to know what they want as if you're going to try and get one?

I personally hate lesbians, not because I'm homophobic, I have no problems with gay men for example, and it's nothing to do with their sexuality, i just find most homosexual women I've met are incredibly rude/bitchy/aggressive as opposed to most homosexual men which tend to be quite friendly and nice to talk to. I guess maybe they are trying to compensate by acting like they just injected testosterone/steroids in their body.
