So err, What’s Happened to the Princess of Wales?

I am still looking for that magic way to block non-news stuff like this from all of my news feeds.

You mean create an echo chamber? That sort of functionality hasn't served us particularly well so far if you look at social media on the whole.

Manipulation, incitement, fanaticism, etc. Whilst your aims of ditching dross news is worthy, alas there are those out there who will use it to craft their own reality.

Anyway, that's far too sensible for a Royals thread. Kate is in rehab for a Snickers addiction.

I find the whole thing quite funny (assuming she is okay!). How that photo got past the person making the edit....may be William did take it and did do the PS himself on his phone using the best shot feature and not zoomed in to check the details. The PR team who received the photo would felt the pressure just to release it as is.

If it is indeed done this way, it would be a very bad PR for whatever phone he used!

He's clearly sat down with Stable Diffusion WebUI* after watching a few YouTube tutorials and just thrown it a bunch of prompts and aged his children. Then got annoyed at how it wasn't spitting out what he imagined in his head and just called it a night before sending it out.

*I imagine the future King has a rig with a 4090.

I hardly think blocking news about the Royal family is creating an echo chamber. Wowsers

Radio 4 suggested this morning that the news agencies had recently changed some of their acceptance criteria for photos in the AGE of AI and that photoshopping of Royal photos has been normal for years but the change ins standards has caught people out. I mean it's a promo photo not proof of alleged ******* war crimes the World needs to get a ******* grip.

Is it ever going to be enough?
Not in this world nowadays, when instead of talking to mates about things you can go on a forum or social media and interact with far more people. The media has to find something to sensationalise to get more readers to gain more revenue, not print what is just relevant and not just made up

I guess they should just stop photoshopping their images and then people would have nothing to say about it.

My wife was laughing at the CT side of this the other day. Something about the kids and her parents all disappearing since pre Christmas, Will with bruising or a black eye after he cancelled that engagement the other week, another family member with bruising around the same time who had a 'gardening accident', the fact that most media were weirdly quite on it until now...

What struck me yesterday was how early the photoshopped comments were circling but it took until the evening that BBC even addressed them. Thought they liked to put things through BBC verify these days if there was a whiff of manipulation about things?
