So got a PS4 with Killzone today and it doesn't look like an upgrade :(

The graphics are the same except a tiny bit less jaggy, what have they upgraded exactly as I am struggling to see why I have paid £385 for this...

I may just send it back to the superstore.
 
I always thought this when I got a ps3 over a PS2. just seems to always be that way, its something they often call diminishing effort, graphics get better but sadly not always represents what you may think..

I remember seeing gt5 prologue on PS3 and thought, erm its gt4 but you go back and look closely, its clearly better..
 
Do you play PC games much? Because I felt the same about the new gen consoles. I've been looking at the same/better graphics over the last year on PC.

What excites me more about the new consoles is the increase in quality across the board, meaning the PC will start seeing better looking games because they're not being ported from last gen consoles.
 
I've been very impressed with the graphics on the ps4, easily on par with all but the top PC games. Killzone looking the same as before,I'm sorry but lol
 
I play on my PC around 95% of the time, I just wanted a ps4 for the exclusives I also have a Wii U and the old gen consoles.

It just seems like a £50 upgrade and a massive downgrade from my PC.
 
Just take it back to the shop if you're not happy with it, and get your eyes tested while you're at it.

take he he's got a history of posting rubbish then? killzone is actually a very nice looking game, on par with most what I've seen on pc. but I do in a way understand, its sometimes harder to see increases until you look back. Zen pinball on ps4 looks the same as,ps3 until you realize its better res, better performance and smoother then the same game on pc.

I've been impressed with ps4 comparable to my pc. its been on par mostly

I don't understand all the hatred tbh. It isn't much of an upgrade, certainly not a £350 worth, I am very disappointed with it. Its like a low/med PC.
 
I don't think Killzone SF is all that great a game, however, it is far better graphically than the Killzone games on the PS3.

You'd have to be blind or a simple minded troll to suggest otherwise.
