Vacuuming throws up loads of dust so do that first. Wait a while then get rid of dust with a damp cloth.

for the record i polished first and it worked out well... always did it the other way

dont pretty much all vacume cleaners have those filters that exhausts cleaner air than your house has already?

Doesn't matter - just get the maid-servant to do both every day. In a week there won't be enough dust around to see much difference.

Dust first, starting from the top down. Hoover afterwards with a Dyson meaning no dust.

Yes they do, they form to my feet and feel weird if you put them on the wrong foot. I have to pair them up right or it drives me mad. My wife hates it

Why would you wipe the dust onto the floor? Can you not collect it in the duster like normal and then shake the duster outside?
