So how was 2007 for you?

Sitting here drinking my tipple trying to work out wether im glad 2007 is over or not

how has the year gone for you? pros and cons?

Good:
got engaged
got my first mortgage
went on my first proper holiday in many years
as of feburary my job got better and better
got to the last 2 in a job interview for a position over 30 people applied for

bad:
the missus uncle died in a diving accident
the missus step brother hung himself
failed to quit smoking yet again (nearly though)
loads of my mates had some big fallings out which still havent been patched up

hope you have all had a nice evening thus far, and happy new year :)
 
Good:

Went Florida
Saw Prince at the 02 (My mums kind of thing more :p)

Bad:
My auntie has 'parted' from the family, which is unfortunate, making my mum quite upset recently, especially today of all days.
 
In a word, depressing.

Nothing really went the way I'd have hoped, lot of serious illness in the family, car accidents, relationship troubles, friendship troubles...

2008 can only get better.
 
"Challenging", if I'm charitable about it. The words I want to use would probably net me a PermaBan unfortunately. But I'm still here, and if life thinks that it's done enough to truly keep me down it's in for a rude shock :)
 
i enjoyed it - probably my best so far, i started a new job and recently got a massive pay rise :D, had a great relationship(all be it a short one) with the most amazing girl i've ever met, had a few half decent cars - and a couple of crashes, but i got payed out in the end, and made a lot of new friends through work and college :)
 
ive overall enjoyed it. but 2008 can have so many things go right for me so hopefully will be a great year :)
 
Good:

1. Had several pay rises during the year.
2. Regardless of the pay rises i was offered another job with even more money and i start on the 2nd
3. Finally got myself a nice "posers" bike :p (Honda Shadow)

Bad:

1. Fell in love but didn't work out.
2. Shaved my head after having long hair for the last 8 years.
3. theres a few other things i would rather not say.


All in all it hasn't been too bad a year
 
Works been great, had a payrise, family life is great too, kids are all top of the class at school and happy, lost my gran and a close friend, all in all though its been a good year, a damn site better than 2006 so heres to 2008 :)
