So how was 2007 for you?

I was only out of work for two weeks, had a nice holiday, managed to treat the kids for birthdays and xmas etc. Had some fun, saw some good bands, met some good people etc. So not too bad as years go.

2008 I'll probably continue to do the same.
 
compared to some of the things i have seen posted on these forums and indeed in this thread, I certainly cant complain.

One thing I would say though is that I have witnessed my grandparents health getting worse but I have pledged to make them proud and care for them as much as I can because I know they genuinely care about me.

I wish you all a good year, especially those of you who have had to put up with some awful tragedies.
 
Good start, crap end.
6th form atm sucks but its getting better.
Summer kicked ass Camping etc.
Passed my GCSE's
Yr11 was always fun.
Nearly my whole friendship group went to college leaving about 4 out of 13 left in 6th form.
 
2007 has been a pretty good year for me looking back.

FEB: Back with family.
MAR: Started good new job.
JUN: Got Married and met my brother for the first time ever.
OCT: Move into new flat with the new wife.

Pretty good all in all.
 
Good;

Saw family back in New Zealand
Passed all my exams
Met new people
Last year of 6th form
Etc

Bad;

Saw some family in New Zealand for probably the last time
Family members died
Lost a few good friends

Theres a few things.

Overall an average year.

Next year is mine to change, will make it a good year!

Well it's easy to say that, but for some people it's not that simple. You have no idea of the problems I've been having over the past 5 years.
 
Ermmm, not much good happened this year, and for the first time in my life I'm alone on new years. Plenty of stuff went wrong and the usual things that get me down got a little worse. I'm not particularly down about it, I just have little to look forward to.
 
Not bad, could have been better. 2008 will def be good, I sense good things lets hope it lives up to expectations. Put it this way, 2003, 4, 5, 6, wasn't great. 2007 was alright. 2008 will be great.
 
Good: New job earning twice the money I was on before + bonuses. Great vacation to the Bahamas back in January. Lots of nice toys.

Bad: Erm....nothing comes to mind. I had the flu a couple of weeks ago...that's about it!

Life has been great for the past 5 years. I'm not taking a second of it for granted either because I know at some point things will go boobs-up. That's life tho :)
 
Good:
Didn't drop out of Team Challenge expedition so I could spend the money on a new PC
Took my AS Levels
Completed a very ambitious Systems & Control coursework, with full marks
Won £150 in a regional competition for 'Application and integration of electronics' with coursework
Learnt to drive, passed test in summer (no, wait, we're all constantly learning right?)
Went to Malawi for four weeks on Team Challenge expedition, had an awesome time (want to do it again though!)
Got my AS-Level results; straight As!
Managed to pull the money together for a new laptop within a few months of returning from Malawi anyway so really glad I didn't drop out
Applied for Computer Science, got 4 offers so far, waiting for reply from Cambridge in the next week or so
Reduced number of computers belonging to me from 6 to 2 (and one just sits in a corner for use as an occasional server) :)

Bad:
Can't think of any! :D

Only thing is, I'm struggling to see how 2008 can actually be any better! :-o

Good year for me, became a father for the first time, bought a nice house, and got the promotion I wanted.

Roll on '08!
