so i want a ps3, but which games?!

I have both consoles and have a small piece of advice, do not get fight night on the ps3, it's terrible compared to the 360 version, such a letdown.

NG Sigma is good if you haven't played it before, Formula one is good but tbh I prefer the 360 racing games out.

To be quite honest I barely use my ps3, although i've got big hopes for the games that are on the way. 360 is on fire right now, mines actually really quiet too.

Why is fight night such a let down on the PS3?

Fight Night was one of the first games I had for my PS3 and I really enjoyed it. Why do you think it was so bad?

He said it was bad on the PS3. I've played it on the 360 and thought it was amazing. But haven't played it on the PS3.

Other than the PS3 version having poorer lighting, I thought they were identical. The only preference I would have over the 2 would be the controller, but that wouldn't make the PS3 version poor.

I know he said it was bad on the PS3 and I said I enjoyed it on the PS3 so why did he think it was so bad?

Just thought it was a good game. Granted it was my first one I played with Next Gen graphics on my new HDTV etc, so that may have swayed my opinion a little. The commentary used to drive my wife mad though - "IT'S BAM BAM, WITH ANOTHER BODY BLOW... BAM BAM"
I don't think I could have played it with the 360 controller - having to use both analogue sticks in unisen like you did would have made it awkward being in different positions imo.

huh? what about all the fps on the 360 that use the analogue sticks in unison? i had it on 360 and it was superb.

I can see what he's saying, from using 2 sticks all the time next to each other and having that feel natural, having sticks away from each other at different heights would feel odd.

It's what you get used to.

I hammered this game on my 360 and must admit the learning curve when using *** sticks just to do all the punches, was much steeper in the 360 controller.

On the PS3 version I played it was much easier to do the moves from the controller.

Having said that the load times were abysmal on the PS3.(and the 360 was fairly slow loading as it was).

Talking about FN Round 3 I used to love fighting the poor chaps that used buttons to punch, they were so easy to beat. :D
I also thought using the analogue sticks to punch were very fluid and easy to grasp since first using them way back in Fight Night 2004 on xbox.
