45 years married and 6 years courting.

Not married as yet but been engaged since the start of summer having been somewhat verbally beaten into submission , together since just before Covid, 2 children in that time.

Now the misses is off of maternity leave I’m sure she’s going to home in on the topic of marriage again, it’s only a matter of time….. I’m not against marriage to any degree, but growing up in a household with unmarried parents who eventually split up, it’s just never been a particularly important topic on my part.

Ultimately I’ll be getting married for family stability and to make the misses happy which is fine by me, as these are the people that matter the most in my life and I want them to be happy, content and feel secure.
