So whats the best dance tune ever?

3Beat for me..... they do decent proggy stuff and their breaks are damn fine.... and the missus likes the house selection :D being down here is just the pits for record shopping... that is unlesss you like positiva or summink from HMV

juno is pretty good too for new releases and fairly reliable online... plenty of stuff on there to spend the mortgage on ;)

I usually only use Juno or IMO records but I dont buy a great deal of vinyl these days :( Decks sitting in their boxes dont help lol

Foolishly refusing to remain silent, having heard of almost nothing in this thread, I suggest:

Bassomatic - Fascinating Rhythm
Nomad - Devotion
C&C Music Factory - Things that make you go Hmm.
Soho - Hippychick

And the greatest House track ever:

2 Men a dog and a drum machine - Tired of getting pushed around

/leaves in a hurry

Thank You

You mean me?

Quality tune, loved it when i first heard it dropped in the mid 90's, still sits in my collection now, a remix or re-release would be class and something I'd certainly look out for. checked out the website, Good work, is it gonna be a general release a la hmv and the like or will i need to visit my local specialist shop to get it ordered?

MMMmm, I'm sure I have that on an old NOW album from ~96, rememeber listening to it after finishing my GCSEs. One with Damon from Blur sampled right?

*searches around in packed up crate of cds*

...ah yes, here we go. I quite like is as well, the bits I particularly enjoy are the intro before the vocals come in (first 30s) and when the keyboard first kicks in at ~1min. In fact it seems to really pick up every minute at around the 58s mark, 0:58 1:58 2:58. The first two times the background beat is cut totally meaning the "new" sound which comes in is very effective. The final bit is just the whole lot coming together.

Will keep an ear out for the remix.

This cd also has "Robert Miles - Children", "Josh Wink - Higher State of Conciousness", and "Underworld - Born Slippy". Now That's What I Call Music!;)

he is certainly, but give jody credit too :)
yup, agreed WOW are great, and they have a new album coming out (in August I think). Need to catch them live too, only seen Jody djing.
